Advonex International Announces Attendance at Scaling Up Conference
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Kingston, ON – Advonex International, today announced it will attend a 3-day Scaling Up Conference on November 14-16 at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario. The conference will focus on Canada’s opportunity to be at the leading edge of innovation in developing an economy that stresses cleantech over fossil fuels. This is part of a broader effort by the company to learn more about Canada’s low-carbon, bio-based economy.
Speakers and session chairs will discuss low-carbon alternative energy and strategies, and the opportunities in Canada to build commercial plants. Topics covered will include the decision-making process relating to site selection, raising debt and equity, and the role plated by venture capitalists, conventional lenders, and strategic investors in cleantech. Confirmed speakers include representatives from Canadian Wind Energy Association, Sustainable Development Technology Canada, Enerkem, and many others.
